Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls![]() Tautphaus Park is located between 17th St and Sunnyside in Idaho Falls, Idaho. There are many nice parks in the state, but this one tops them all, along side Freeman Park, located in Northwest Idaho Falls. There are many trails to walk or jog throughout Tautphaus Park. There is a water canal the flows through the park with walking trails on both sides. Located towards the end of the water way (before it flows into the zoo), you'll find a nice waterfall and fountain area... but you'll have to look and explore to find this spot! During the Summer time, there are many, many events, get-togethers, reunions, and all types of outdoor activities. Almost every day you'll see families in the park having a picnic, disc golfers playing disc golf, softball games in multiple fields, and people just enjoying the scenery of the park. The park also has a nice fountain located on the East side of the park. This is a favorite for families and kids to get close to during the hot Summer days. Community Park is located just under a mile East from Tautphaus park. The Idaho Falls Tautphaus Park indoor ice skating rink is located just across from the Idaho Falls Zoo, within the park. The rink hosts many ice hockey games, boys and girls games, men and women's games. There are also figure skating times, public skate times, and special program times.
